Prototype to Production Parts, Under One Roof
Send a drawing or a worn part. We model it, print a prototype you can fit to the machine, then make the production part in metal in our own shop. Single parts and small batches.
What this service is
A custom part lives three lives before it earns its keep: a model on screen, a prototype in your hand, and a production part on the machine. MOI Engineering Private Limited does all three in one plant in Mohali, India, the same plant that has built packaging machines since 1960. That is what stops a part that looked right in CAD from being wrong on the day it is fitted.
Three Lives of a Part
Each step catches what the one before could not.
The model
We draw the part in SolidWorks or AutoCAD, or work from your drawing, STEP file or worn sample. A clean model means the part can be made again by anyone, not only by the person who drew it.
The prototype
We print the part on our own 3D printers and fit it to the machine. Does it sit where the model says? Can a fitter reach the bolts? Two or three quick loops on a print cost less than one wrong machined part.
The production part
Once the prototype fits, we machine the real part in metal in our own shop, inspect it against the drawing, and ship it. Repeat orders come off the same drawing.

Questions Before You Send a Part
What is a prototype to production service?
One shop takes a part from a drawing or a worn sample, through a printed prototype you can fit and test, to a machined production part that is inspected and shipped. MOI Engineering does all three steps in its own plant in Mohali, India.
What do I need to send you?
Any one of: a drawing, a STEP or STL file, or a photo of the worn part with its main dimensions written on it. If you can post the sample, we measure it here.
Do you make parts for machines you did not build?
Yes. Most replacement parts we make are for machines from other makers that are no longer supported. We work from your sample or your drawing.
What is the smallest order you take?
One part. Prototyping is for single parts by nature, and production runs of tens of parts are the usual order.
Do you ship outside India?
Yes. MOI machines and parts are installed in more than 20 countries. Parts ship by courier or freight, and we quote the shipping with the part.
